A few years ago, I would’ve never been able to take a trip like this without constantly checking my phone, calling my staff, wondering what was going wrong back home.

This time felt different.

Not because everything is perfect… because it’s definitely not.

But because I’ve been intentional about building systems, training my team, and letting go of the idea that I have to do everything myself.

Social work taught me how to communicate, lead, solve problems, and advocate for others.

Today, I use those same skills to lead teams, serve families, coach entrepreneurs, and build businesses that create opportunities for others.

Looking back, I realize my career wasn’t separate from entrepreneurship.

It was preparing me for it all along.

The hardest transition I had to make as a business owner wasn’t hiring people…
It was learning to let go.
