I really hope this finds you well, blessed and encouraged. Well, Makhai graduates HIGH SCHOOL TOMORROW! It has been such a journey. After head start barely talking, he began his educational journey at Mastery Cleveland. It was fourth grade that we all realized he needed more than what mainstream education could give. He then when to Green Tree School. He has remained and thrived there ever since. He has met all graduation criteria, presented his Senior Project and will be a graduate of Simon Gratz Mastery Charter School. He has gone on the prom. He has worked two jobs; the polls at voting places and as a clerical assistant for a real estate company. His plan for the fall is to join City Year. He has really come a long way. I always want to thank you for everything because if not for your dedication to our kids, I don't think he'd be where he is today. So, if you never hear it again, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!
