In a Philly rowhome, every inch counts. So we built storage behind the couch. 👉

Most people lose that wall to the sofa. We turned it into a full custom built-in, with flip-up storage cabinets hidden right behind the couch for blankets, pillows, the kids’ toys, and everything else that usually ends up on the floor. Up top there’s open shelving and a tall cabinet for the rest.

No wasted space, and nothing in the way of how this family actually uses the room.

Every Philly rowhome has this closet. Always built as an afterthought, and it never really works.

You don’t have to live with it. We tore this one out and built a Legacy Wardrobe in its place: hanging space, drawers, and a lit vanity, designed for this exact home.

Same pantry. Completely different room.

This pantry had shelves everywhere and nowhere to actually use it. We kept the footprint and changed the function: butcher-block work surface wrapped on three sides, a built-in cubby to get the microwave off the counter, closed storage below, open shelving above.

Now it’s a coffee station, a prep space, and a pantry, all in the same footprint.

A look back at the process behind our showroom.

Before the finished displays, there were months of planning, building, and bringing each detail together. This walk-in closet was one of the first spaces to take shape, and it’s rewarding to look back at where it started compared to the showroom we have today.
