Last month, we celebrated our graduates and welcomed the second cohort of the Jumpstart Philly En Español Program! Congratulations to all!

This game-changing initiative equips people with the education, networking opportunities, mentorship, and financing to purchase, rehab, and complete houses in underinvested neighborhoods. We were joined by real estate industry leaders, contractors, entrepreneurs, and amazing speakers, including Jumpstart’s visionary president and founder, Ken Weinstein.

Huge thanks to our incredible partners and the generous support of bank for making this possible!

El mes pasado celebramos a nuestros graduados y le dimos la bienvenida al segundo grupo del Programa Jumpstart Philly En Español. ¡Felicidades a todos!
Esta iniciativa transformadora brinda a las personas educación en el campo de bienes raíces, oportunidades de establecer contactos, mentoría y financiamiento necesarios para comprar, renovar y restablecer viviendas en vecindarios con poca inversión. Nos acompañaron líderes de la industria inmobiliaria, contratistas, emprendedores y oradores increíbles, incluyendo el visionario presidente y fundador de Jumpstart, Ken Weinstein.

Congrats to the 20 graduates of the FIRST EVER Jumpstart en Español! Greenline Access and the Dominican American Chamber of Commerce partnered to launch the program in Spanish. The Real Estate training model provides opportunities for new and experienced real estate developers to increase their knowledge and obtain financing for their real estate projects.

The graduation this past November was a joyful celebration! We can’t wait to see what these Jumpstarters do! Spanish language materials are available open source at jumpstartgermantown.com/resources

We are deeply grateful to Jumpstart Philly for their initiative and dedication in translating this unique Jumpstart model, enabling us to bring this impactful program to the Spanish-speaking community. And our excellent instructors, Juan Saenz and two Jumpstart graduates Alex Robles of Jumpstart Kensington and Antonio Cerqueira of Jumpstart Germantown.

What a wonderful evening we had for our recent panel discussion exploring the unspoken rules of engagement for today’s women! Panelists and guests shared stories of inspiration and connected with one another. Thank you to all our Latina entrepreneurs who were the stars of the night! Our brand color, green, which symbolizes growth and harmony, was also the star of the night.

Our partners, funders, board members, caterers, photographer and event decorators made this event unforgettable! Thank you all!

Our host, Spring Point Partners LLC, and their staff made us feel at home. M Santos Interiors supplied beautiful decorations, while catering was provided by Orale Venezuela, It’s a Cupcake, Pananderia, and Reposteria El Coqui. Plus, Family Express provided a wonderful experience to 14 of our clients who arrived at the event in their private van.

What an incredible event! Thank you, Les Dames PHL Chapter, for inviting us as panelists for the Les Dames Fireside Chat on Building Financial Futures! It was truly an honor to share the stage with inspiring and influential women who have made significant contributions to the hospitality and business sectors.

We enjoyed discussing how community financial institutions can better support underserved communities, and we’re happy to know that many of you left the event feeling inspired and ready to take action!

In early December, we gathered at finalist Chef Dionicio Jimenez’s restaurant Cantina La Martina, to recognize our 16 client recipients of $455K of $655K total in so far from the Department of Commerce.
Our partners from Commerce Department shared the latest news on the City’s grant programs for small businesses, Everence Federal Credit Union shared details on their programs and services, including those tailored for ITIN holders. We also heard an inspiring success story from one of our clients.

Our new collaboration with Everence Federal Credit Union will help us expand our work and serve even more small businesses! Thank you to Everence for sponsoring the event and Cantina la Martina for hosting us with great service and wonderful food.

P.S: Special thanks to talented graphic designer, Quynh-Mai Nguyen for bringing this event to life in graphics!
