The Hobson Enabling project showcased the breadth of D’Angelo Bros., Inc.’s construction capabilities, supporting the enabling phase through excavation support, utility installation, and modifications to existing infrastructure.

Our scope included erosion and sediment controls, earthwork, shoring of excavation, jack-and-bore operations, pipe work, structural concrete, steam tunnel retrofit, and hardscape.

Project Spotlight: Jefferson Health Specialty Care Pavilion at 1101 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia.

D’Angelo Bros., Inc. performed the excavation, sheeting, dewatering and utility support—with crews digging 52 feet below sidewalk level!

✅ 70,000 cubic yards of soil excavated
✅ 40,000 square feet of sheeting installed
✅ 320 tiebacks installed

⚾ Throwback: building the home of the Phillies! ⚾

Before the first pitch at Citizens Bank Park, D'Angelo Bros. was on site moving dirt. 💪

We were involved in every phase of construction of the new ballpark, working under multiple contracts that included:

🚜 400,000 cubic yards of bulk excavation 🏗️ 75,000 sq. ft. of soldier pile and tieback shoring 🔩 Pile cap foundation excavation 💧 Pump station excavation, shoring and dewatering 🔌 Site utilities 🌎 Earthwork, grading and drainage 🧱 Concrete work 🛣️ Asphalt paving of the surrounding parking lots 🏟️ Refilling the demolished Veterans Stadium with 400,000 cubic yards of fill

Built in 1792, the New Jersey State House in Trenton is one of the oldest capitol buildings in the United States. In 2022, D'Angelo Bros., Inc. was proud to complete the underpinning beneath it.

We were selected as one of only three pre-qualified contractors for this specialized work. Our crews installed more than 400 underpinning piers and placed over 1,000 cubic yards of concrete to support critical renovations and infrastructure upgrades — all while working beneath a 230-year-old landmark where there's no margin for error.
