It's not every day that one of our industry's premier conferences lands in our own backyard, and with U.S. Travel Association's calling Philadelphia home this year, we knew we had to make the most of it. Last night, we welcomed our destination partners and friends from across the United States to our Center City offices for a special open house experience, complete with Philly-themed snacks (including cheesesteaks, pretzels and Tastykakes), local brews, and quality conversations, all set against a breathtaking view of historic City Hall. 🌆

Thanks to everyone who joined us for an unforgettable evening. We hope you had an amazing week in Philadelphia!

Yesterday, our Philadelphia team traded their laptops and spreadsheets for cold drinks and hot dogs in South Philly for the annual Tempest Phillies tailgate and a night at the ballpark, joined by friends and family who came out to share in the fun.

We spent the afternoon playing games, swapping stories, soaking up the sun (all 100 degrees of it), and cheering on our hometown Phillies. A great way to step back, connect, and recharge before a busy stretch ahead to close the year. Go Phils! ⚾

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Jacksonville last week for ! We hope you came away with fresh ideas, new connections, and plenty of inspiration. 🌊

We packed three days with keynotes, fireside chats, hands-on trainings, roundtables, happy hours honoring first-timers and the smart women who get sh*t done, and a Murder Mystery that kept everyone guessing. The closing night Lip Sync Battle and Travel Jam concert proved once again that this industry has no shortage of hidden talent. 🎤

Earlier this week, Tempest team members from across the U.S., Canada and the U.K. gathered in Philadelphia for our annual Team Day — a full day of big-picture updates, hands-on collaboration, and a little friendly competition for good measure.

We kicked off the day with an overview of where we've been, where we're heading, and the exciting products and services currently in development, before taking a moment to recognize the colleagues who bring our core values to life every day. We then split into groups to imagine the destination marketing industry in 2035, followed with team dinners, a few rounds of friendly competition, and the kind of conversations that only happen when you're all in the same room. 🏆🔮🎱🤝

We are grateful for moments like these and already looking forward to bringing the team together again at Tourism Academy in Jacksonville in just a few weeks!

Tempest's Q3 2025 Destination Website Performance analysis is live! We reviewed data from nearly 80 destination websites to understand where traffic is coming from, how engagement is shifting, and what it means for DMOs heading into 2026.

A few takeaways:

✅ Organic traffic continues to lead with a 72% engagement rate
📉 Just 39% of sites saw YoY organic growth in Q3
🤖 LLMs now drive 0.30% of all sessions (up from 0.19% in Q2)
💻 94% of that traffic came from ChatGPT; Perplexity accounted for just 3%
