This is some work that I did in Howard Brunner's Photographic Communication class. The class was mean to be a break in the rat race of portfolio classes. We were encouraged to do whatever we wanted to, and to be as experiemental as we pleased. I made images that are remniscient of dreams I have had. It was nice to make work without considering scholastic consequeces (that is as long as I produced work!) I'd like to return to this idea with a different set of post production skills.

A few chosen works from a series I began in early 2011. I photographed my subjects while discussing their experiences with love. Couples were shot together, people who's loved ones were no longer around were shot alone. I was inspired by an image from Alec Soth's NIAGARA. I printed the works in a large book with each supplemental story next to it's owner. I've decided not to display them this way here to maintain a sense of privacy for their contributors. I plan to continue working on it through out my life.
