I’m thrilled to announce that my children’s book, Molly Worries, has been published and is now on ! 🚀 It’s been a journey of over 6 years filled with challenges, setbacks, perseverance and growth—a true labor of love.

When I started this project, there weren’t many resources for children dealing with anxiety, and writing this book became a healing journey for me. It’s the book I wish I had as a child, one that could have made those moments of feeling different or alone a little easier.

Over the past 6 years, I’ve seen strides in the discussion around mental health concerning children, but there’s still progress to be made. My hope is that Molly Worries helps kids navigating big emotions to feel less isolated. Because when we truly understand and embrace ourselves, we can begin to love ourselves fully.

I couldn’t have done this without the unwavering support of my friends & family, especially my husband, , and the incredible talent of my illustrator, , who brought Molly and her world to life with such vibrancy and warmth.

Thank you to everyone who has cheered me on, offered kind words, and believed in the importance of this book and its message. Your encouragement has meant everything.

I can’t wait for you to meet Molly! 🔗 in bio

"My love affair with documenting things began on my 6th birthday. I was gifted a camera during a family trip to . I took that camera everywhere, excited to capture and share the exciting world around me.

As I grew up, I continued sharing things I was passionate about. In middle school, I started an online fan club among my friends for one of my favorite singers, , and in high school ran a MySpace page about .

Despite my passions, I always thought I'd become a pediatric oncologist. Losing my aunt and niece to cancer fueled my desire to help others. But realizing that chemistry just wasn't for me, I decided to major in psychology at .

I applied for and was accepted into the Disney College Program, working in merchandising at . After moving home, I got engaged and decided to get in shape for my wedding, documenting my workouts at . I became a gym ambassador and started Britt on a Fit Journey, documenting everything health and fitness, including ’s scavenger hunt. P2P invited me to become involved with their amazing non-profit. Through this, I met many amazing business owners and wanted to document other types of businesses. That’s when Britt Around Town was born.

The importance of helping small businesses was never more evident than during the pandemic when social media became a lifeline and a community. Today I run , creating user-generated content to promote and support small-town USA, highlighting businesses, and sharing my experiences.

I’m not an influencer and I don't profit from businesses I share. I want people to trust my judgment as they would a friend. I use my passion for documenting things to help support the dreams of others. My page isn't about me; it's always about the businesses.”

“I always say that your uniqueness is your power; it would only be disadvantageous not to embrace it. With that belief in mind, I chose to use what made me unique to excel: I used my passion for painting to propel my dreams of making an impact through my art.

With a father who is an art broker, I was exposed to the art world at a young age. I first started painting at just three years old and spent many summers and weekends as a child taking classes at in South Philly.

I attended high school at Cardinal O’Hara where I continued to work on my art. I began college in 2016 and in 2017 I transferred to to major in Communications.

Shortly after transferring, I made the decision to combine my creative and communication skills and officially launch my art brand, , which took off faster than I could have ever imagined.

Since then I have leveraged the skills I’ve learned so far in my college classes, such as branding, social media campaigns, and marketing tactics, to help me grow my business. I have sold my work at a number of vendor fairs in the Philadelphia area including .creative.vine, have had the opportunity to share my art with my fellow students at Widener University, and have been privileged to sell my work on campus.

Recently I decided to open up a shop on to sell my paintings as well as items such as stickers and mugs that feature my work. Young and Melanated is not only a shop but a brand I’ve created by telling my unique story through my paintings.”

“When I start something new I don’t strive for perfection. Instead I just get started and trust that the rest will fall into place as I continue to grow.

As a child my mother gave me painting sets and craft-making kits for nearly every birthday and holiday. Art was always something I loved to do.

In my late 20’s I took a part-time job at . While I wasn’t a huge fan of working in sales, I enjoyed the job because it provided constant inspiration for new crafts to create.

I ended up leaving that job when my daughter was born to focus on being a mom and working my other job.

When my daughter was 10 years old I wanted her to see me doing something I genuinely loved, so I started crafting again. She and I attended a hair show in Baltimore where we took a class on loc jewelry. After taking that class I continued to do research and make jewelry out of aluminum wire; I began making rings.

One day I wore one of my rings to work and my coworker immediately asked where she could get one. I told her I made it myself and she requested one of her own. After that I began crafting in my spare time, selling rings to friends and coworkers.

Seeing my jewelry in such high demand ultimately gave me the confidence to open my online shop, . After nearly a decade, I can still say that I love what I do. Today I create fun and colorful aluminum wire jewelry. I still don’t believe in perfection, but instead focus on getting better each day and doing what I love.”

"It's hard to have what you love most torn apart. That's how I felt while studying graphic design at the at . I always knew I'd be an artist; I just wasn't sure how I'd make a living.
With a mom who painted portraits and a grandma who drew women's fashion, art’s in my blood. My parents always encouraged me to enter local competitions and in school my art was displayed at our annual art show.
In 10th grade I applied to as a face painter. But when the hiring manager learned of my art experience I was hired to draw caricatures. Having never drawn them before I was terrified but soon fell in love with it.
With my family concerned for my financial security, I chose to study graphic design in college. While artistic, it also fit the stability of a 9-to-5. But after having our designs constantly torn apart I knew I couldn’t sustain a career in it.
After graduation I found agents who began booking me for caricatures at various events. I convinced my mom to give it a year and if it didn't work I'd get a 9-to-5. But after a short period of time I found success - and my calling.
While quarantine has been challenging it's given me the time to draw and hear back from some of the celebrities I admire such as the cast of , , , , and the cast of . It’s been exhilarating. But it's not just the artistic freedom I love.
Unlike traditional caricatures, I highlight individuals' 'good' features without exaggerating their 'bad' ones. I help people feel good about themselves.
From weddings and birthday parties to bar/bat mitzvahs and surprise engagements (I've done 17!) the last decade of has been incredible! I encourage others to follow their dreams. If you're passionate you can make it."

“Fitness is like building a house: it begins with a solid foundation on which you continue to build.
As a child I was a competitive gymnast and always active, but things changed as a teenager when I was injured and began attending physical therapy. I always knew I wanted to work in the wellness industry, but after that experience I decided I wanted to be a physical therapist.
After graduating from college, I got a job at the front desk of the Fitness Center. Within just a month I began studying to become a certified personal trainer. It remains one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
What my clients don’t realize is that as a CPT not only do I help them, but they also help me too. I love seeing them progress and achieve their goals.
About a year and half ago, I was offered the opportunity to teach classes at , which quickly became like a family to me, a community I’d never had before.
Since healthy living is best achieved when fitness and nutrition are paired together, I became motivated to get my certification in nutrition counseling as well. I knew I was doing the right thing when I began seeing the impact my work was having on my clients.
As we continue to navigate these uncharted times, it is important to take great care of both our minds and our bodies. Like everyone else I have had to adapt, now serving my community online. Through virtual training I strive to help make my clients day-to-day struggles a bit less overwhelming. I want them to know that I am always there - at the click of a button - to listen and assist them.
I feel good knowing that my clients are consistently working hard to alter their habits, while growing and feeling better each day in the process.”

“Even as a kid I was passionate about building something that could last. With a habit of taking things apart to build something new, my parents gifted me with an erector set to encourage my creativity. In high school, I played the saxophone and thought I wanted to be a musician but ultimately decided to study film.
I graduated from .edu before completing a technology program at . After working on several tv shows, music videos, and movies in Florida, I moved to L.A. for more opportunities. While there I worked on the set of the HBO series and was a production manager for .
I loved the creativity involved with film, but missed creating things with my hands. One day I decided to build a desk for my apartment. That experience re-invigorated me but I couldn’t make anything else due to lack of space.
After six years on the West Coast, I moved to N.J. looking to reset my career. There, my girlfriend and I bought a home with lots of space. We needed furniture so I decided to build it myself. This included a vanity that I hope to one day pass down to our grandchildren.
As the pieces were finished, I began sharing my work on and received a lot of requests from others for similar products. This overwhelming response led to my decision to turn my passion for woodwork into a business.
Today I hand-make and sell everything from coasters to cutting boards. I love making things that others can use and take great pride in each piece knowing that my art will become my legacy.”

"'не все та буде' It roughly translates to 'It won't always be like this.' If it's good don't get too comfortable, but if it's bad don't get too disheartened. It holds true now more than ever.
I was born in Lviv, Ukraine but came to the US when I was just 2 years old. When I was growing up in NE Philly, I didn't know what I wanted to do. I thought I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom, but since that wasn't an option at , I picked business; it seemed like a well-rounded thing to study.
During school we needed to choose a business internship. A friend worked at an accounting firm and made an introduction. I continued working there even after graduation. I did the company's bookkeeping, payroll, and tax prep, but I also took on their marketing, writing up newsletters and blogs and setting up social media pages.
I left the job in order to travel. I moved to Portland and spent time doing services trips all along the West coast. I guess you can say it was my 'Eat, Pray, Love' moment. After about 6 months I moved back to Philly.
I received a call from a woman I'd met at a .global event that I attended before I'd moved to OR. She offered me a position at Calculating Destiny, an accounting firm. I was hired as an accounting assistant, but with the go-ahead to freshen things up, I began working on the firm's website, social media and marketing. Once again, I loved it.
I decided to part ways as an employee but instead stayed on as a freelance branding consultant and I began taking on more clients. After failing to find agency positions that fit, I realized that I could do this full-time.
Now I do consulting/management, web design, social media, and branding for small businesses. I never wanted to be a part of the corporate world. I wanted to provide independent businesses with the resources needed to grow. Getting to work from anywhere and meet new people all the time makes it even more exciting."

Walking into the drug store I’d frequented over the last five years, I was met with a bit of a surprise. Where the cash registers once stood were new self-checkout stations.

I was 13 when I received my first copy of . I remember seeing Bundchen on the cover and was inspired by the creativity & beauty of the fashion world. I idolized the likes of , and .
That initial introduction to fashion took me around the world from a showroom in New York to a luxury travel publication in Bangkok, and eventually a fashion magazine in Melbourne. For the next five years, I wrote for various brands and magazines in Australia. Yet, it was the birth of my daughter in 2011, that brought the biggest change in my life. As a new mother, I became aware of and concerned about the chemicals in our clothing and beauty products that negatively impact our health. I advocated against the production of these chemicals that also destroy our environment and the world our children will grow up in.
This year I founded , a publication that educates and promotes sustainable, eco-friendly, and non-toxic fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands. I want to show that you can enjoy luxury while respecting yourself and the world around you. 'Fast fashion' jeopardizes our health and our environment. I want to inspire change.”

“My dad always said 'Life is 10% what happens and 90% how you react to it.' Never was this belief tested more than when I was living in LA. After earning my Masters in Strategic PR from , I was never more than one mayonnaise sandwich away from going flat broke. Two years later, I got the news that my father had pancreatic cancer and I moved back to New Jersey.
Growing up I was very into music and art. After seeing a Live 8 concert on TV, I was inspired by the idea of using live music events to help people achieve a common goal. I wanted to do that.
When I moved back to New Jersey, despite applying for entry-level jobs, I couldn't find one and was still struggling financially. So when a friend opened up an ad agency, , I did social media for him while driving for part-time. I continued to look for a permanent position.
In 2017 I began working full-time as a Business Intelligence Analyst, but I missed my artistic side, so I began writing and painting. My friend Davey D. reached out about starting an art collective and I convinced him to pursue the sale of his drawings and paintings (), before our friend, Rich () joined us.
My role was to find opportunities for them to sell, which morphed into , a booking & event planning agency. Now I promote both of their work and am taking on new clients. I hope to help artists become profitable instead of being exploited and gentrified out of their own neighborhoods.
My dad is in remission and what he taught me couldn't be more true. A positive mindset can change just about anything. I'm using mine to help others find the success to continue doing what they love."
