Airalux Medical, a Pennovation Accelerator '24 alum, was interviewed by BiotechTV at The Wharton School's BioTech conference. The company is developing a digital breathing device to aid surgical recovery for patients.
Co-founder Joshua Freedman shares his journey from undergraduate and graduate school to launching a startup. He discusses the funding and support he received at Penn and from the NIH, as well as advice for aspiring entrepreneurs. The device has successfully completed a clinical study with 30 participants and is now prepared for a larger trial.
