Good Morning. A message from PROTechs Pest Control; www.protechspestcontrol.org
As Philly and some surrounding counties are still delayed with trash pick-up it’s important to protect your homes and businesses from increase rodent activity. Customers that follow these recommendations see quick results with resolving rodent activity.
1-If you see daylight coming through any of your closed doors, that opening needs to be sealed with a door stop, insulation stripping or insulation foam. Mice can fit through a dime size opening.
2-Outdoor trash should be kept in a metal trash can with a top until pick-up. Mice will stop to get a meal if they smell food. They will keep moving if they don’t smell food. Spray Cleaner or Clorox (if it’s safe) INSIDE the trash bag if food is inside the bag to keep rodents and insects away.
3-Put garbage in the refrigerator. Remove the kitchen trash can and put trash out everyday (in metal trash can with top).
4- Any food in cabinets that are not in a can or jar should be in tupperware or plastic container.
5-Keep food and dirty dishes out the sink and off the counter.
6-Seal up entries at pipes and baseboards.
Mice carry germs and disease. Stay safe. God bless.
