PAR-Recycle Works PAR-Recycle Works is a non-profit that hires returning citizens to recycle used electronics.

We help restore the lives of the formerly incarcerated in a supportive environment. PAR-Recycle Works is a nonprofit that provides transitional employment to people returning to the community from prison through an environmentally responsible electronics recycling service. Working with municipalities, businesses, faith-based organizations and other major institutions, PAR-Recycle Works takes apart

computers and other electronics and recycles them into valuable components that are sold to generate revenue to pay our employees. By providing our employees with skills and opportunities, PAR-Recycle Works helps to build safer communities and contribute to stronger families while saving taxpayer money.

We have big plans to grow our business and deepen our impact in 2026 - and we need your help to get there.

PAR is raising funds to purchase a permanent home that will allow us to expand our e-recycling business and create more jobs and training opportunities for justice-impacted Philadelphians.

With grant funding from the state of Pennsylvania and our community’s support, we're well on our way. Now, we need to raise the final 23% of funds ($250K) required to purchase PAR’s forever home by January 2026.

Our current facility can’t keep up with our growth – or with Philadelphia’s growing need for responsible e-waste recycling and employment opportunities for justice-impacted people.
