Clinical advancements don't happen in isolation. They take a community.

Recently, specialized proton therapy equipment destined for Penn Medicine's Roberts Proton Therapy Center arrived through the Tioga Marine Terminal, where it was expertly handled by Delaware River Stevedores, Inc. before continuing its journey to support life-changing cancer treatment.

Stories like these inspired the theme of our Summer International Business Networking event, Built to Last.

On July 23, we'll bring together leaders whose work spans global logistics, architecture, professional services, international connectivity, healthcare, and business. Together, they'll explore how collaboration across industries drives innovation and strengthens outcomes in Greater Philadelphia.

We're proud to have RKL LLP, Royal Institute of British Architects, Delaware River Stevedores, Inc., and American Airlines supporting this conversation, with more exciting participants to be announced.

Behind every breakthrough is a network of organizations working together. That's the story we're celebrating, in partnership with the Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia

Yesterday, British American Business Council of Greater Philadelphia staff had the unique opportunity to tour Johnson Matthey's Devon facility, led by Regional Operations Director - Clean Air, and BABCPHL President, Zac Taormina in Wayne, Pennsylvania.

Johnson Matthey, founded in 1817, is a British multinational company with their US Headquarters in the Philadelphia region, specializing in chemical manufacturing and sustainable technologies. The Devon site focuses on manufacturing advanced emission-control catalysts that reduce harmful pollutants from vehicles and industrial sources. As a leader in clean air technology, the facility drives the industry’s technological advances in sustainable manufacturing and environmental innovation. It was fascinating to see the local work that reaches globally—from Philadelphia to the UK and beyond.

Thank you Zac and the entire JM Team for a brilliant BABCPHL Field Trip!
