This Pride Month, SBN is proud to stand with our LGBTQ+ members, partners, and community.

Thank you to the Independence Business Alliance for extending the invitation to join you and so many partner organizations at City Council, where a resolution was passed declaring June Pride Month in Philadelphia. And thank you to Councilmember Rue Landau for introducing this declaration, and to all of City Council for celebrating it.

To everyone in our community who is part of this beautiful, vibrant community: we see you, we hear you, and we stand with you. You will always have a place here where you feel seen, heard, and safe.

Johann is a civic entrepreneur at heart and community-focused program leader with experience building businesses, managing partnerships, and supporting economic opportunity initiatives. He has worked closely with immigrant communities through language access, advocacy, and navigate critical resources and opportunities. Johann is passionate about entrepreneurship as a tool for economic mobility and community empowerment. He is particularly energized by SBN's commitment to building an inclusive economy where small businesses, diverse founders, and local communities can thrive together.

He holds a B.A in Chemistry from University of Illinois at Chicago. He is an avid backpacker and outdoor/workout enthusiast.
