This horse is being supported by his handler as he meets Wacky Wally for the first time. The handler is using a pre trained posture response that helps the horse relax. This neck/ posture release facilitates emotional regulation by lowering the sympathetic nervous system. Notice at the end of the video how quickly the horse recovers when startled.
