More than just a market, Jefas Mercado is an annual event that is a celebration of women entrepreneurs, the power of community, and a celebration of survivors. 🌼

Our 2026 Jefas Mercado was such a beautiful reminder of what is possible when we come together to uplift each other, and how supporting small businesses makes real economic impact in our communities. 💛

Thanks to you, our 37 Vendors were able to generate over $7,033+ in revenue, with 8 vendors making their first sales ever! Many left more confident and connected, ready to participate in more community markets and invest deeper into their businesses. 💫

100% of our participating vendors surveyed expressed interested in returning to Jefas Mercado next year! Will you be there?

Never be ashamed to ask for help, seek community when needed, and continue to dream big. These are the lessons we hope to instill in each graduate of the Economic Empowerment program. 🌼

The Economic Empowerment Program is a collaboration between Prestamos WBC and CPLC De Colores that provides domestic violence survivors with entrepreneurship and small business training. Through this seven-week cohort, each future entrepreneur is given tools to launch their business and support towards their personal and financial empowerment.

We are proud of our graduates as they enter this new chapter, full of endless possibilities and unconditional support! 💛

Nunca sientas pena de pedir ayuda, buscar comunidad cuando la necesesites y seguir soñando. Estas son las lecciones que esperamos inculcar en cada graduada del programa de Empoderamiento Económico. 🌼

El Programa de Empoderamiento Económico es una colaboración entre Prestamos WBC y CPLC De Colores que busca brindar capacitación en emprendimiento y pequeños negocios a sobrevivientes de violencia doméstica. A través de esta cohorte de 7 semanas, cada futura emprendedora recibe las herramientas necesarias para lanzar su negocio y el apoyo necesario en su camino hacia el empoderamiento personal y financiero.

This week, we joined forces with our partners at to host “An Entrepreneurs Guide to Redefining Work-Life Balance” Self-Care Workshop and Aromatherapy Bar. 🌿
 
Participants went through a workshop where they learned how to prioritize themselves, alleviate stress, and make entrepreneurship a more manageable experience.
 
Our biggest takeaway: The power of community and asking for help!💫
