The other summer intern we are thrilled to highlight is our Engineering and Design Intern, Khiem N. Khiem is currently a junior at Arizona State University.

As our Engineering and Design intern, Khiem spent significant time in both the Design and Engineering departments where he worked on PCB layouts and created a schematic from scratch, respectively. His first design project involved integrating additional circuitry to an existing design to increase functionality, and Khiem did a wonderful job.

He also traveled with our Director of Business Development Neil to the ASU SkySong 2026 E-Mobility and Clean Energy Summit.

Khiem shared of his summer intern experience, "It was clear that the MJS team genuinely cared about making the most of my internship. They always strived to provide a wide variety of experiences, and I learned more this summer than any prior because of that fact. I’m glad to have been able to contribute to the MJS team, and I am so incredibly grateful to MJS Designs Inc. for giving me the opportunity to learn and develop in a professional engineering environment."

We are thrilled to highlight one of our incredible summer interns, Kathleen Y. Kathleen is currently a junior at Arizona State University, where she is studying Electrical Engineering.

This summer, Kathleen was a PCB Design Intern. She toured the different sectors of MJS Designs, allowing her to see each step of the PCB production process.

Not only did Kathleen spend time in both the Engineering and Design departments, but she also got to experience a trade show firsthand, traveling to the ASU SkySong 2026 E-Mobility and Clean Energy Summit with Director of Business Development Neil.

“Looking back, my time at MJS Designs was invaluable,” shared Kathleen. “My attention to detail and my inspection skills have improved, and I finally got to see how a real engineering-focused workplace runs.”

We’re thrilled to feature recently promoted PCB Designer James N. as this month’s !

When reflecting on his time at MJS Designs, James shared: "I’d say the highlight of my time here at MJS hasn’t been any particular event or accomplishment, but rather the way that no matter what I’m doing on any given day, the work always feels useful and important."

A fun fact about James is that he can play six musical instruments.
