Five years ago today I made my very first Instagram post on this account, officially launching Virtual Muse 💐

I didn’t really know what I was doing, but I had every ounce of determination to bring this dream to fruition (if you know me, I’m like that with anything in life)

What started with a few clients believing in me and bringing me on as their virtual assistant led into the most beautiful, creative, inspiring, five years of blossoming into a design and social media studio

My heart has been overflowing with gratitude since day one, through the busy seasons and slow seasons. Taking this moment to really soak in the milestone and what being here means to me 🥲

It’s been a busy busy stretch here at Muse — the holiday season underway, more time with family and friends, and working intently with dream clients, dream projects.

My heart is full and my days are full, but I’m prioritizing stillness in between and staying connected to myself in the ways that feel most grounding.

It’s challenging in the Winter when we’re supposed to find 100% calm and coziness (I usually feel the need to go into hibernation right about now), and it’s a careful (daunting) art of finding the right balance between action and restoration.

I maintain my peace in different ways — sometimes pilates helps and sometimes rotting on the couch helps (a comprehensive list of my go-to’s are on slide 3 hehe)

But most importantly, take care of you (and your business) in whatever way feels best for *you*. Always come back to yourself, nurture what you need to, and create space for peace this season.

Ignoring the fact that we’re a week into May (how) but here’s an April recap bc it was a *stunning* month ☁️

Filled with so much goodness:

— calming my nervous system with more walks in nature
— travels to TN (10/10 minus the food poisoning)
— exploring personal style and curating my essentials
— more quality time with the people I love
— a brand presence refresh for Muse in the works
— drooling over client projects and pinching myself at how much I love my job
— another unforgettable brand shoot (new photos coming soon hehe)

Grateful for such a gorgeous month and so excited for all that’s to come in Q2 🤍

Amidst some (very dreamy) client projects as of late, I’m trying more and more to find time for personal creativity through the outlet of passion projects.

My goal is to ideate and bring to life one brand each season that represents my current design style inspiration and ideal clientele example.

With Fall, I bring you Studio Nora — a culmination of an ethereal yet grounded sense of artistry. A modern, organic design and art studio.

Studio Nora reflects my overflowing love for thoughtful, intentional, timeless design, creating brands that feel good, leave a lasting impression, and can sustain the test of time.

When your client has a brand that feels like Fall, designing their instagram templates and curating their social media presence feels effortless ☁️

Third & Market is a branding and design studio for established lifestyle brands in wellness, beauty and athleisure. (And they’re quite literally amazing, go check them out)

While their feed was absolutely beautiful to begin with, we created some custom, on-brand templates and refreshed the aesthetic of their feed as a whole to reflect their branding, and connect to their ideal clientele.

The result — a social presence that not only looks and feels cohesive, but fosters brand connection and reflects the warmth and sophistication of Third & Market.

👋🏼 Smiley and back in action after fully embracing life offline for the summer

As things are (finally) cooling down, is there not this feeling in the air of being seriously revitalized?

My favorite time of year is this transition from summer to fall — like things are coming back to life but calming down all at once.
