Throwback Thursday: We had a fantastic event with and their Scotch Brand Ambassador . Jenna created the idea of taking guests on a trip from London to Ireland, with three separate experiences wrapped into a quick 90 minutes. We even had the incredible opportunity to host 2017, "Best International Cocktail Bar," and . Thanks to and the rest of the team with for coming up with such a fun, engaging event. Events are always a ton of work. The planning, the set-up, the preparation for the cocktails, the outfits… that’s all before ex*****on. Regardless of the time and energy it takes, putting on an event is rewarding. We get the opportunity to try new things, think outside the box, and connect with people from all over that we admire.

We had a blast today in Los Angeles, CA for their alumni event. Jason taught a seminar in Tiki: Stirred, Not Shaken. This seminar reviews the history of the lack of inclusion of Stirred cocktails in Tiki and Tropical Cocktail Programs, how drink templates work, and how to evolve your tropical-inspired cocktails into stirred versions.

Our concept, UnderTow, is sailing to Gilbert this October and we're excited to expand our crew of hospitality experts to our Barter & Shake team!
We will be hosting a job fair at the new UnderTow location on September 14th, 15th, & 16th from 11 AM to 4 PM.
The ideal candidates will have previous customer service experience, work well with others in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment, love taking care of guests, be on time, and arrive with a positive attitude ready for their shift. Our cocktail bar concepts are high-volume and require individuals to work well under stress and have the ability to manage their time efficiently while attending to guests. Must be available to work weekends and evenings.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow with a dynamic team of hospitality professionals. We also offer full-time employees medical benefits after an initial probation period and the hourly pay exceeds minimum wage requirements.
