September October 2026 Snake Oil/You better change that attitude!

“…In a somewhat similar way that astrology works the Michael teachings show that we are wired at birth with one of seven attitudes.* These are actually chosen at a Higher Self level and locked in for life. The idea that you should or even could change your attitude is largely meaningless. At best we can learn to stay in the positive poles as opposed to negative poles of our attitude. An idealist cannot become a pragmatist because they are told that they should be. The seven attitudes or way we see life are from most common to least common: Idealist, realist, pragmatist, stoic, skeptic, cynic and spiritualist. I am a realist. The positive pole or the realists expression is to be objective and its negative is being subjective. A realist can slide to its paired attitude of cynic though. The positive pole of cynic is contradiction and its negative is denigration. The realist sees life from the lens of “it probably is” while the cynic sees from the lens of “it probably isn’t.” Many realists understandably make good judges, arbitrators, and counselors because of their ability to both empathize and to also be objective. A lot of the best comedians are not surprisingly realists or cynics. They can be really funny by calling out contradiction in society and human behavior but sometimes can seem a bit too dark for others. The cynic attitude is often taken on to handle a potentially difficult life or repayment karma. George Carlin is a great example of a famous cynic. Judge Judy would be an example of a famous realist…”

I have noticed whenever a big change is on its way, or a long time dream is about to appear in the tangible world for myself often the number 22 appears in ways that would be hard not to notice. On license plates, waking up at 222 or other variations of the 22, seeing it on receipts, street and house numbers, etc…
I have been explaining this to clients and also sharing ways that they can create more of this energy of assistance and helpers both from other people and from the Otherworld.

I have been talking about the emotional, energetic patterns behind disease and illness on some of my social media sites.. Louise Hay’s book You Can Heal Your Life was groundbreaking insight into understanding causes behind illness. Over twenty years ago I talked about patterns behind the AIDS crisis and talked about it when I originally launched my Snake Oil Podcast. I shared a powerful story that was both sad and also showed that sometimes family fails us and why we may need to find new families. I discuss the pattern behind this affliction in the first audio. I’ll Tumble For Ya

“I am guessing we all have those moments when we are doing something and you get that bizarre flash of recognition that you are now somewhat like your Mom or Dad. This recognition may make you either laugh or shudder! I remember when I was a kid often observing my Mother holding the garden hose and washing down the driveway or sidewalks where we lived. She did this both for practical reasons and now I see to also enjoy quiet time. Nobody would attempt to talk to her when she was armed with the hose and its power attachment. Temporarily escaping the challenges of a noisy house with seven kids and two dogs was probably a form of meditation for her. I was recently washing down my upstairs condo’s stairs like I had done hundreds of times before, while wearing casual sandals. Many times in the past while I was doing this I would think that sandals weren’t the best footwear during this process, and still proceeded anyway. When I finished and stood at the top of the soaking wet stairway, I suddenly slipped and foolishly slid halfway down to the bottom. I seriously sprained my ankle and left foot in the process.

When I painfully hobbled up the stairs, cursing in notable pain, I limped into my home frustrated by my clumsiness and ignoring the prompt of simply putting on footwear that had a more firm grip. In addition, knowing that there are always multiple layers to any accidents I also had the spark of beginning to inevitably contemplate why some part of me created this extremely uncomfortable event. It took time for the answers to that question to come through but inevitably answers did surface. My first priority was practical; to focus on what I needed to do to handle the sprain. Thankfully it wasn’t broken but it was a really bad sprain in a range I had never experienced before in my life..”
