What if the truth about humanity's past was hidden in plain sight - embedded in the source code of forgotten websites?
With the recent launch of the new book The Kesey Signal, a cyber-noir thriller by Rob Ford (FWA), we wanted to help transport you back to 1999 and the golden era of web design. In the book, truth is embedded in the source code of archived Flash websites, and 2Advanced Studios is woven directly into the trail. The plot follows digital breadcrumbs through sites many of us remember: MONO*crafts, 2Advanced Studios, Subservient Chicken, Get the Glass!, Hotel 626, and The Wilderness Downtown.
Field Station 02 is our small transmission back into that world: bitmap type, hidden codes, interactive fragments, and a little 1999 energy. Track the signal to access the synopsis and crack the code and acquire the desktop kit. Then, grab the book and enter a drawing for 1 of 7 limited edition Kesey Signal posters, designed by 2Advanced and hand-signed by Rob Ford (FWA) and Eric Jordan (2Advanced) for the winners.
