Had an amazing session with this Senior! I can't wait for her to see ALL of the beautiful photos that she will have in her gallery. It was so hard to choose a sneak peek, but after going back and forth, this is the one I landed on. What you don't see is the amazing Sedona mountains behind her. I will save those for another post later. ☺️

On that crazy, stormy Saturday night in Phoenix, I had a session with this sweet momma and her amazing family. We prayed all weekend that the rain would hold off and let us keep our session at our planned time. We finished up at 5:30, and it seems about 10-15 minutes later, it started to POUR! But God answered our prayers!! We got to spend - what I now have decided is far too little - time laughing and cracking jokes all while taking photos and watching the storm roll in. Here is a sneak peek. The storm clouds rolling in over the mountains made the way for some beautiful images... oh, and the great looking people in them help a little bit, too. 😉😉

Hey everyone! 👋 It’s been a little while since I introduced myself, so let’s catch up. I’m Candice, the person behind the lens at Candice Melton Photography. 📸✨

Here’s a fun fact: I’ve been a photography enthusiast for as long as I can remember! As a kid, I was always capturing family moments and snapping photos of friends. 📷🎉 I took a detour into banking after high school, but after getting married, I realized my true calling was photography. So, I grabbed a film camera (because that's how old I am😅), and that’s how my adventure in photography began! 🎞️💖

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m busy homeschooling my four amazing kids (ages 6 to 12)—yes, that’s a lot of snacks and math problems! 🍎📚 I also get to share my love for photography and theater by teaching classes that spark creativity and fun in others. 🎭📸

Can’t wait to share more with you all. Thanks for being part of this journey! 🌟

🚨📣 Hey everyone! It’s been a whirlwind year, and I know I’ve been MIA, but guess what? I’m STILL HERE and ready to dive into fall with you all! 🌟

This year has thrown us a few curveballs – from a surprise home remodel (thanks to some epic plumbing drama 🚰) to a storm crashing through our backyard 🌪️, and the kids absolutely shining in their Theater Club play 🎭. It’s been a rollercoaster, with highs and lows, but through it all, I’m still here, and I’m thrilled to reconnect!

As we gear up for the fall, I’ll be taking on a limited number of clients, so if you’re looking to jump in, make sure to book early! 📅✨ Let’s make some magic happen together!

I got to spend some time with this amazing family over Thanksgiving weekend while they were in town. There were lots of laughs and a whole lot of teamwork getting the attention of a one-year-old. 😄 I'm so glad I was able to see (and meet some of) them while they were here. 🧡
