Community Support Needed

Brighter View Foundation is currently seeking volunteers and community partners to support the St. Mary’s Food Box Program and the upcoming Food Pantry Program serving families, seniors, and individuals in our community.

Location:
4331 W Bell Road
Glendale, AZ 85308

Next Food Box Distribution:
May 20th
Every Other Wednesday

Volunteer Opportunities Include:
• Food box distribution
• Setup and cleanup
• Organizing food and supplies
• Community outreach
• Assisting seniors and families during distribution

Volunteer Shifts Available:
• 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM

In addition, the new Brighter View Foundation is expected to launch within the next two weeks and will operate Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The foundation is actively looking to build long-term volunteer and nonprofit partnerships to continue expanding community impact.

I had the opportunity to stop by and support the opening of a new practice led by Founder and CEO Carrie Mardula MS LPC, Clinical Director, Emergent Mental Health Services and I wanted to share this resource with my network.

As someone who works closely with organizations, nonprofits, and community initiatives, I’m always paying attention to the spaces and services that are growing around us. And this is one to know.
Carrie is building something intentional, and it was great to see the vision come to life in a tangible way.

What a meaningful reminder of why advocacy and public service matters.

It is an honor to serve alongside leaders dedicated to improving outcomes for older adults throughout Arizona.

Through the Arizona Governor's Office of Youth, Faith and Family and through the Advisory Council on Aging, I have the privilege of helping shape policy conversations that center dignity, caregiver support, and equitable access to services for communities across our state.

Thank you to Governor Katie Hobbs for her continued engagement in strengthening systems that support dignity, independence, and equity for our aging population.

Policy is personal. Community is powerful. And leadership requires listening.
