JUST ANNOUNCED: We are pleased to announce that James Cross has been officially appointed as a Subchapter V Trustee!! Jim was the first Subchapter V Trustee to be appointed in the state of Arizona, and among the first in the nation, among only 250 in the entire country. Congratulations, Jim!
The Small Business Reorganization Act of 2019 ("SBRA") went into effect on February 19, 2020, which makes reorganization under Chapter 11; Subchapter V of the Bankruptcy Code quicker and easier for small businesses. It is hoped that the SBRA will help more small businesses survive economic downturns and other challenges, which will help small businesses and those who deal with them.
