She received her Bachelor's degree from U.C. Berkeley and a Master's degree from UCLA. In 2000, she moved just next door to attend law school at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in Tempe. Although Delia loves Arizona, her heart lives in the Bay Area along the Point Reyes coastline where sea, land and sky meet. Delia is a highly respected attorney based in Phoenix,
Arizona, specializing in immigration and criminal defense law. With over 16 years of experience, Delia has built a reputation for her dedication and expertise in navigating complex legal challenges. In 2010, Delia incorporated criminal law into her practice, after Arizona became ground zero for anti-immigrant legislation and an overly zealous sheriff's department illegally enforced federal immigration laws. She represented non-citizens in both criminal and immigration cases to prevent non-citizens from being removed from the United States. Delia expanded her areas of practice on behalf of non-citizens primarily because she found that non-citizens with U.S. Citizen children are often overlooked. Delia believes that immigration laws and policies should always take into consideration the effect on American children, as they are part of the future of the country. At Salvatierra Law Group, PLLC, Delia is known for her compassionate approach and relentless advocacy for her clients. Her commitment to give sound legal advice and achieve positive outcomes has earned her numerous accolades and heartfelt testimonials from her clients. Delia's passion for immigration law is deeply personal, as she strives to help individuals and families find security and peace of mind in the United States. Outside of her legal practice, Delia enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new restaurants in Phoenix. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, connecting her with a diverse range of clients and communities. Currently, she is a member of the school advisory board at the St. Thomas the Apostle School in Phoenix, Arizona as well as a board member of the non-profit organization, Neighborhood Ministries. Her work at Neighborhood Ministries focuses on providing immigration non-profit legal services in Phoenix, which stems from one of Delia's long-term professional goals to create and expand affordable quality immigration services. Delia is married and has two children. She enjoys playing badminton with her family, interior design, and very much enjoys watching organizational videos and implementing those techniques at home and work. Education:
