Occupational Mix Survey is due for hospitals July 1, 2020.

It will adjust each hospital's Average Hourly Wage and either increase or decrease the Core Based Statistical Area's Wage Index.

Since it will impact reimbursement for three years this would be a good year to have Wage Index reviewed for your hospital.

New rule for Hospitals to list rates.

A newly finalized requirement will require hospitals to post rates that are privately negotiated with health plans, as well as rates for a list of 300 “shoppable services.”
