I also love kids. Newborns, toddlers, teenagers, & even "big" kids aka YOU! Even though I live waaaaaaay out in Queen Creek I travel all over the valley to capture your special moments. And no, I don't do weddings, so you're probably wondering what special moments I could possibly capture for you... Well, there's that ear to ear grin a child gets as their Mommy kisses their cheek, newborn smiles,

parents relaxed & laughing at their 2 year old jokester, or that moment right before a newly engaged couple is about to kiss- that are incredibly special. You don't need a fancy studio, you don't need to say cheese. It's the moments that happen in a blink of an eye, maybe unremarkable to others, but to you are priceless. They tell the story & they are the moments that will take you back. I think that an awesome location, beautiful natural lighting, & a totally radical photographer (ahem, thats me) can turn an everyday family dynamic into magic. I'll make it fun. I'll make it easy. Play based family photography… the thesis statement of a paper written with the title, “Amy Took Our Pictures.”

Who, what, when, where, and why.

1️⃣ Who. The who tends to vary. Maybe it’s you and your partner with your newborn child. Maybe it’s your entire extended family while everyone is together for a holiday. Maybe it’s just you doing head shots and creating content for your business.

2️⃣ What. What we photograph also tends to vary. Life is full of exciting milestones which warrant professional documentation. Weddings, newborns, divorce party… you name I’ve done it 🤣

3️⃣ When. The when is right effing now!! ⌛️ I’ll let you in on a secret… we never lose 10 pounds. I’ve been trying to lose 10 pounds since 2014 dammit! There are many times I wish I was as fat and ugly as I felt then lol.

4️⃣ Where. Inside, outside, anywhere, and everywhere. Get your mind out of the gutter we’re talking about family photos, people!!

A proven method of attracting real, paying clients is to show your face on your social media! Data shows that people are more likely to stop scrolling and click on your post if they see YOU.

🏡 Are you a real estate agent selling a house? Post a picture of you in a house!

🧘‍♀️ Are you a yoga instructor letting people know of an upcoming event? Post a picture of you in warrior 1!

🥖 Are you a baker advertising your signature cakes? Post a picture of you with a cake!

Of course our first instinct would be to post a picture of **just** the house, the yoga studio, or the cake... but potential clients respond more when they feel like they know you or have a connection with you.

There's nothing like a backyard photoshoot! These were taken a few days after Christmas... and now it's April 1st and it might be colder today haha!

Speaking of weather, today marks the second time this baseball season that:

a). I totally forgot Logan had a game until 5pm (game is at 5:30)

b). Yell, scream, and instill panic in my children plus half the neighborhood bc my windows are open (nice weather, duh!)

c). Got Logan to his game just in the nick of time!!!!

d). But... gates are locked and parking lot is empty. Game was canceled due to weather (angrily check the team app for the first time today, and see I was notified at 10am game was canceled).

I only have a few spots in April available for family or senior photography!

This is truly the best time all year to have photos taken PERIOD. With our gorgeous weather and the desert in bloom (& GREEN!) it makes for an actual "enjoyable" family photo experience lol🤣

Because we all know how *fun* it is to do pictures when it "cools down" in October (actually still 100 degrees), or the most sought after month of November (probably raining), or the last minute/jam packed month of December (freezing and is dark by 5pm). 🔥🌧☃️
