Home Care Resources is the only private duty home care agency in the Valley with three specialized care departments: our General Care Department helps with activities of daily living, such cooking, cleaning, bathing, etc; our Hospice Assistance Department helps fill in the gaps when when Hospice workers can't be in the home; and our Chronic Neurological Conditions Department specializes in helping
with conditions like Alzheimer's/dementia, ALS, Parkinson's, strokes, etc. Caregivers in our Hospice Department are all seasoned, mature professionals who are familiar with Hospice protocol and philosophy. They are experienced in caring for clients from the very early stages to the end of life. Care staff are all proficient with such Hospice-related tasks as flow charting, medication assistance, proper bed baths, perineal care, special diet preparation, etc. Caregivers in our Chronic Neurological Conditions Department are also experienced veterans who must demonstrate in our onsite skills assessment lab their proficiency with equipment such as Hoyer lifts and slide boards, etc., as well as their abilities providing assistance with equipment like ostomy bags and feeding tubes. They must also demonstrate skills such as using visual, tactile, and sound cues; redirecting patients; positive approaches; etc. Home Care Resources was founded in 1999 with the desire and commitment to provide customized, quality non-medical care to those we serve throughout Maricopa County.
