I recently heard that Baby Boomers were aged and needed to step down. Wait, I thought: I’m a baby boomer! And I’m SO not old enough to be stepping down! My answer to stress? Research! Here’s what I learned.

Three cheers for Arizona's wineries and tasting rooms! Pay a visit, pick up a bottle, and enjoy a delicious taste of Arizona's high desert wines!!!

All of these wineries have instituted ways to keep us healthy, so make sure we do what we can to keep our local businesses, especially our favorite wineries, healthy throughout the era of coronavirus.

Before coronavirus shut down our family gatherings, I was able to meet Larry Brett, the brother of my brother-in-law Michael Brett, and tasting room manager at Chateau Tanunda - the oldest winery in Australia. Founded in 1890, Chateau Tanunda owns vineyards with vines that date back to 1845. Here we give Larry (on the right) two bottles of Syrah from innovative Rune Wines, located in Sonoita-Elgin, Arizona. Cheers, mate!

We can only hope that our current coronavirus scare gets resolved soon so that we can all get back to our daily lives. Looking forward to a lovely glass of Pinot Noir to pair with your roasted salmon this New Year’s Eve? Ah, just wait. And never mind where that Pinot Noir is from. The 100% tariffs that the Trump administration is considering will impact far more than just French wines. So drink up. Or even better, write to the U. S. Office of the U.S. Trade Representative.
