Sasha was my birthday present in June! She is sweet, playful and cuddles at night next to me.
She is 1 year and 8 months and 1 week. No she isn’t spoiled at all🤣💗🌸

There are a lot of great titles in life… but I think “Auntie” might be my favorite. 💛

This week, I got to spend a few days making memories with my amazing nieces, Charli (11) and Molly (22), and we packed about three weeks’ worth of fun into just a few days!

We…
🦋 Wandered through Butterfly Wonderland
🍋 Baked lemon loaves and pumpkin chocolate chip bread
🏊 Had swim races, handstand contests, and diving competitions
🎨 Painted wooden butterflies and frogs
🍦 Made homemade ice cream (and it was surprisingly delicious!)
🎭 Watched movies and laughed way too much
🧖‍♀️ Family FaceTime (Name of the organic face masks)
☕ Took a coffee and sweet treat run with Uncle Joe
🛍️ Squeezed in a little shopping, of course!

Here’s what I’ve learned: kids don’t remember perfect vacations… they remember the people who made them laugh, let them lick the spoon, cheered them on in the pool, and made ordinary moments feel special.

My heart is full, my house is a little quieter, and my kitchen somehow has flour in places I still haven’t found. 😂

Being an auntie isn’t just a title… it’s one of life’s greatest blessings. ❤️

What’s one of your favorite memories with your nieces, nephews, or the special kids in your life?

Happy Saturday to everyone… except my brain, which apparently thinks weekends are for productivity. 😂

Can someone explain why I wake up at 4:00 AM on a Saturday wide awake… but Monday at 6:00 AM feels like a personal attack?

So instead of lying there counting sheep, I got up at 4:15 so my husband could keep sleeping.

By 7:00 AM, I had:
☕ Emptied the trash
🧁 Planned today’s baking
🎨 Created three graphics for a client
📦 Ordered supplies for my new baking business
🌿 Watered the plants
📸 Took product photos for next month’s launch
📧 Cleared out my email
🥫 Reorganized the pantry

Meanwhile… my husband woke up and asked, “Did you sleep well?” 🤣

I swear, somewhere between 4:00 and 7:00 AM, I become an entirely different person.

Anyone else have “accidentally productive” Saturdays, or is it just me? 😅

I mean that is definitely in our vows as I recall🤣🤣

Who won tickets to KNIX Country 102.5 secret show? I did!!! And what a great night. It really was like a private concert. No band, just the artist and their guitar playing whatever songs they choose.

It’s been a minute. Make the call. ❤️

Yesterday, I spent two hours on the phone with an old friend from San Diego. Honestly, we probably could have talked for two more.

She was the best manager I ever had. She challenged me, believed in me, let me make mistakes, and helped shape my career in ways she probably doesn’t even realize.

Life has changed for both of us. Jobs changed. Cities changed. Seasons changed. But the friendship was still there—just waiting for someone to pick up the phone.

Maybe there’s someone you’ve been thinking about lately.

A former coworker.
An old friend.
A college roommate.
A neighbor.
A family member.

Maybe it’s been two years.
Maybe it’s been five.

Don’t let the amount of time convince you it’s too late.

Make the call.
Send the text.
Write the email.
Reconnect.

Life is too short to keep waiting for the “perfect time.” Sometimes the best conversations begin with, “I know it’s been a while, but you were on my mind.”

You never know how much someone might need to hear from you today.

❤️ My challenge for you: Before today ends, reach out to one person you haven’t talked to in a while. It doesn’t have to be a long conversation. Just let them know you’re thinking about them.
