As a Lactation Consultant who formula fed her firstborn medically fragile infant, I have always and will continue to always support every family in whatever way they choose to feed their baby. This is a heartbreaking and terrifying time for families to navigate-and entirely unacceptable in this country.

I love what I do. I love showing up and holding those sweet babies while their new mamas are trying to figure it all out. I love kneeling in front of a mom who’s doubting herself and telling her that she is stronger than she knows, more powerful than she could ever imagine. I love watching her start to feel those words and actually believe them. I love that I get to witness some of the most precious moments a new family experiences.

In the time of COVID and uncertainly and although it looks different, I am so grateful that I can continue to support new mamas and their babes. YOU are the glue that holds it all together ❤️
