Well the 2026-2027 School year has started! Brightstar Consulting is so PROUD to recognize our incoming Grandparents that will support Rosehill Elementary, adding Taylor Road Elementary this year!! We started with 6 Grandparents in January 2024, and now have grown to 20 Grandparents for the 2026-27 school year!! Check out our Stats, these Grandparents are killing it, doing their "Second Act"!!

Evidence of Success Since implementation, Rose Hill Elementary has demonstrated positive indicators of growth:

At Brightstar Consulting, we do more than support Veterans!! We provide business training and HR Consulting services to businesses in Central Ohio. One of our favorite initiatives is the Rosehill Grandparent's Program!

Brightstar developed this program to strengthen student success at Rosehill Elementary. We were recently rated #1 in the District in reading and math!! We started with 3 Grandparents in 2023, and have grown to 17 wonderful Grandparents who actively participate in the program. We are recruiting for the 2026-2027 school year!! If you reside in east Columbus, or want to participate in the program, we welcome you!!

Congratulations to Principal Damicka Bates of Rose Hill Elementary School for being awarded the Ohio Alliance of Black School Educators 2026 Outstanding Administrator Leadership Award! She is one of only five administrators in Ohio to receive this esteemed recognition.
