The GenPro team would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our clients and partners this Thanksgiving. Your trust and collaboration have allowed us to contribute to impactful energy projects across the region, and we’re grateful for every person, project, and opportunity that’s come our way.

🔆 Big News from GenPro Energy Development! 🔆

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the the Camden Heights Solar Project in Rapid City — a 999 kW-AC installation that will power seven affordable housing buildings (252 units) at ~90% of their energy needs.

This is more than solar panels and wires. It’s about equity, sustainability, and impact:
• We’re helping reduce utility burdens for senior citizens and families in low-income housing
• Together with Elmington Capital, the City of Rapid City, Black Hills Energy, South Dakota Housing Authority, and community partners, we’re building a model that can be replicated across South Dakota and beyond
• This integration of renewable energy + affordable housing demonstrates how environmental values and social good can go hand in hand
