🔧 Today, Meta is launching America's Workforce Academy — and it's the largest private-sector commitment to the skilled trades with a job guarantee in American history.
Here's what that means for workers across America:
✅ Free, fast-track training (4-5 weeks)
✅ Industry-recognized credentials in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing
✅ A guaranteed job with a Meta partner upon completion
✅ All travel covered + daily stipend while you train
✅ No prior experience required
The AI buildout is creating enormous demand for skilled tradespeople — electricians, plumbers, fiber technicians — and we're investing $115 million to make sure Americans have a clear path into these high-demand careers.
We're launching in Louisiana, Ohio, Indiana, and Texas — but the program is open to applicants in all 50 states.
This builds on what we saw with our LevelUp program earlier this year: 35,000 applications for 1,000 spots in just the first week. The demand is there. Now we're scaling to meet it.
The future of AI is being built by hand. Let's make sure everyone has the opportunity to be part of it.
