Now Hiring: Skilled Laborer / Equipment Operator
📍 Sevierville, TN
We are a growing excavation company in Sevierville, TN looking for a reliable, experienced Skilled Laborer / Equipment Operator to join our crew.
Position Overview:
This role is primarily focused on equipment operation, but depending on the job, you will also be expected to work as a laborer, including assisting with chainsaw work, retaining walls, site cleanup, and general jobsite tasks.
Responsibilities include:
* Operating heavy equipment (excavators, skid steers, dozers, dump trucks, etc.)
* General excavation and site work
* Trenching, grading, and utility work
* Excavation for footers and septic systems on grade
* Construction and assistance with retaining walls
* Chainsaw work, material handling, and jobsite cleanup
* Assisting with daily jobsite tasks as needed
* Following safety procedures and jobsite instructions
Requirements:
* Proven experience operating heavy equipment
* Prior experience building or assisting with retaining walls
* Ability to work on critical slopes and uneven terrain
* Ability to dig and maintain grade for footers and septic systems
* Strong work ethic and dependability
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, required
* CDL a plus, but not required
* Ability to work well as part of a team
* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
