Looks like ice, but this crystal has a whole different story! 🧊✨ Clear quartz is also called rock crystal, can grow with six sides, and even helps watches keep time.
Which fact surprised you most? 👇

Everyone takes something home from the Smokies. Only some take home a story they helped dig up. ⛏️

The Prospector Scoop is built for the explorers, the curious, and the families who'd rather dig for a memory than scroll past one. Every scoop is packed with colorful finds waiting to be uncovered — and the fun really starts the second the water hits the sand and that first glint appears.

No two pans are the same, and neither are the stories you'll tell about them. Come write yours.

STEM you can hold. 💎

There's a whole classroom hiding in a bucket of dirt — and nobody has to sit still for it. Geology, mineralogy, erosion, water flow, density: it's all right there in the sluice, and kids absorb it without even realizing they're learning.

Why does that stone sink? Why does the gold stay in the pan? What makes a ruby red and a sapphire blue? Every scoop is a question waiting to be answered with their own two hands.

It's science you can touch, feel, and take home. No screens, no lectures — just curious kids, real rocks, and a lesson they'll actually remember.

Bring the family and let the mining begin. The best classroom has a little dirt in it. ⛏️

Just one more scoop… okay, maybe two. 😉⛏️ The treasure hunt is half the fun, and seeing what washes into view makes it even better! 💎

All you need is a little LOVE… and a crystal sphere to complete it! 🔮💖 Putting our own sparkling spin on a four-letter favorite. Which sphere would be your “O”? ✨

Family fun looks a lot like this. 🪣

Little hands in the sluice, grandparents cheering from the shade, the cousins in a friendly race to see who finds something first. Nobody's on the sidelines — everybody's part of the hunt. And the best finds are always the ones that get discovered together.

It's the kind of fun that doesn't need a screen, a reservation, or a plan. Just show up, grab a bucket, and let the afternoon happen.

Big kids, little kids, and the ones who insist they're just helping — there's a place at the sluice for all of you. Come find out what kind of fun your family makes. ⛏️
