Global Experts Unite to Advance Health Research and Education in MENA Region”
The organizing committee proudly announces the Call for Registration for the 4th Interdisciplinary World Health Congress in MENA, an international forum dedicated to advancing global health research, education, and collaboration. The Congress will be held at the Faculty of Medicine Ibn Aljazzar of Sousse University from April 12–17, 2026, in Sousse Historic City, Tunisia, under the theme “Advancing Health Research and Education through Collaboration and Innovation.”
Building on the success of previous editions in Gaziantep, Turkey and Casablanca, Morocco, this Congress continues to unite leading professionals, researchers, educators, and policymakers from around the world to exchange insights, present innovations, and foster interdisciplinary partnerships aimed at improving global health systems.

“The 4th Interdisciplinary World Health Congress is more than a scientific gathering—it is a movement to foster collaboration, innovation, and sustainable solutions for advancing health equity in the MENA region and worldwide” said Dr. Adnan Hammed, Congress Chair and leading global health expert.
The Congress is organized by Global Health RMS and Faculty of Medicine Ibn Aljazzar of Sousse University under the patronage of the Tunisian Minister of Health, and jointly co-organized by the Global Network for Academic Public Health, WHO Tunis Office, American University of Beirut Faculty of Health Sciences, Henry Ford Health System, Michigan State University, and the Arab Public Health Association, alongside leading academic institutions from North America, Africa, and Europe. The Congress scientific patrons include University of Michigan Global Health Equity and Global Reach, CDC Africa, University of Nebraska Medical Center, Wayne State university School of Pharmacy, University of Hon Kong School of Public health, Qatar University College of Health Sciences, the National Arab American Medical Association, and ACCESS Community Health and research Center, just to name few.
The Congress will open with a series of pre-congress workshops on April 13, specifically designed to address the training and capacity-building needs of our host country and the broader MENA region. These workshops represent a valuable opportunity to strengthen local expertise and foster regional collaboration. The workshops will be followed by a three-day scientific program from April 14 to April 16, 2026.
Accommodations: A block of rooms were reserved for our gusts at the 5-star Movenpick Resort & Marine Spa S***e, with Mediterranean beachfront access, pools and spa facilities. Attendees have an optional 4-day cultural extension tour of the historic region.
