Merry Christmas!

In spirit of this holiday season, we want to share our gratitude to the countless National Wild Turkey Federation members, volunteers, partners and staff for delivering another year of monumental conservation successes and sharing the special gift that is the life-changing power of the outdoors.

As we look to the coming year and continued successes in mission delivery, let us not forget the true meaning of the Christmas holiday — the renewal of hope and the gifts of peace and love found in the birth of Jesus Christ.

We hope that over the next few days, you get to enjoy time spent with family, friends and loved ones, and we look forward to working together to carry the spirit of this Christmas season long into the New Year!

The NWTF Subsidy Program allows members to purchase seed and sometimes other products at a reduced cost for habitat plantings. This program is only available to NWTF adult members, and products are cost shared by the states.

At the NWTF, we understand the intersection between freedom and our mission. Without the sacrifices made by our men and women in uniform, we would not enjoy the many privileges we have as Americans. From enjoying all that hunting and the outdoors offer to working to make the land better for future generations, we know that none of it would be possible were it not for the Americans who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

Just a little reminder.....

Last chance to apply for the first lottery for firearm and muzzleloader deer permits! The first lottery is for Illinois residents only. Applications are accepted through Wednesday, April 30 and paper applications must be received in the office by that date. Second lottery dates are May 12 through June 30.

Just wanted to thank everyone who came out and joined us for the 29th Annual Pyramid Golden Gobbler hunting heritage banquet. It is because of YOU that makes it possible to give to the Wild Turkey, conservation, and to our local youth programs. We had a great crowd and everyone had a great time. Thank you for everyone who attended and to our many great donors! Lastly, thank you to our committee members, you guys rock! Hope to see you next year for a big 30th Anniversary party!
