These gas stations in Eastern Ky are seeing huge savings on their power bills!! Pictured are systems we installed at 3 The Extra Mile locations: a 65.4 kW system in Meta, 56.14kW in South Williamson and 37.62 kW at the Pikeville location. We estimate these systems combined will save the owner over $25,000 a year!!

Are electric vehicles really worth it!? Many folks here in KY are starting to question if they should keep paying high gas prices, but there is a lot of misinformation out there about plugging in instead. Here is a great article featuring one of our EV charger installs that explains the pros and cons her in Appalachia.

EnergyPros and Cons of the Electric Vehicle Movement in Appalachia October 26, 2023Share: As electric vehicles become more affordable, more of these vehicles are out on the roads – from standard cars, SUVs, and trucks, to rental cars, Amazon delivery trucks, and most recently, a school bus in Wolf...

Our latest install In Rockcastle County. An off-grid system that we're adding 6.6kW of solar (the black panels), an all-in-one hybrid inverter, and 43kWh of battery storage!! These folks should have plenty more electricity to work with this winter!!

We did this 17.28kW groundmount install last winter for an egg farm in Jessamine County. It featured bi-facial panels with light colored gravel underneath to help boost generation. The inverters used feature "Secure Power Supply" outputs, so we also installed 2 outlets that will provide up to 2,000 watts of power in sunny conditions during power outages!!

"Just wanted to let you know that your build has generated a net 2.3 MWatt credit to date, survived the storms no problem and yesterday provided some basic power needs during the all-day outage yesterday. Secure Power Supply performed great and we're now back to running the meter backward."

Thanks a bunch!

We did this 24 panel 8.88kW rooftop install several months back for Tree of the Field, a small business in Garrard Co. They make biomass products like these awesome all natural "skeeter log" insect repellant and scent logs (they even come in Bourbon Barrel scent!!) https://store.treeofthefield.com/collections/all-products

This solar project is a prime example of their commitment to using renewable resources, locally sourced materials and environmentally responsible practices. It will also give them big savings on their electric bill!!

We've been slacking on posts lately, but haven't stopped with energy saving projects! Pictured here is a 4.13kW rooftop system we installed in Berea several months back. These panels will generate enough electricity to offset all of the usage by this very energy conscious customer at their energy efficient home!
