Today is the Birthday of the man that allowed the Farm Music Management the reason for being established. Without his need for management, his trust in us and the opportunity to give a feller that had no idea what he was doing a chance, this thing would've never happened. Although he has not been really active in awhile, that does not mean that we aren't still super proud of him and the choices he has made. There might be a really cool project coming up concerning him, but we will save that for another day. We love you Tim Goodin and we are proud of you and proud to call you our brother. Happy Birthday brother, we hope this one is the best one yet!!

When The Farm first started, the one thing we all strived for was to have at least one of our artists to grace the stage at The Burl. It is an honor to know that all 9 artists have played in front of that iconic stained glass!
The Burl has been a prestigious place to Eastern Kentuckians and they represent Appalachia in a very honorable way. A million thanks for giving so many "up and coming" artists a place to play. From Cannon, Eddie and the bartenders, to the bouncers and door attendants, it takes every kind soul to make this the special place that it is, and always make us feel like we're home.
Celebrate your well-deserved milestone! Thank you for all the hardwork and unforgettable memories! Looking forward to hitting 20 years and all the shows in between!

For now I think I’m going to stick with bouncing around the Creekside Stage performances from the 2026 Laurel Cove Music Festival. I’m a bit too busy with rehabbing a 140 year old house to have time to do any serious editing. Most of the photographs from Creekside turned out great straight out of the camera from what I’ve seen so far. That being said, up next is the outstanding performance by Dalton Kiser and The Downwind on Day Two. Another one of my favorite sets, not only because it rocked, but Dalton was an absolute hoot to photograph with his joyful energy and facial expressions. You could tell he and the rest of the band were having a great time up there introducing us to their unique style of southern rock. I was worn out trying to keep up with them, what a hoot!
