Thanks to all those who have helped us in the 2011/2012 year. ---Update---Lousiana Checks for role players are scheduled to go out in the mail on Feb 29 2012. Please allow due process for the post office to process the mail. Also if you have changed your mailing address and have not put in a forward of address this will affect the time frame you will get your check. it is best to send all your inquires to and concerns to this email address to allow quicker response time. Attention all role players:
It seems there is some confusion as to taxes and 1099 forms. We have turned to our CPA for guidance and she was able to ensure we had accurate information to pass down to all of you. You only get a 1099 tax for if you grossed over $600 in income from the specific company, ie; if your total payroll for the exercise exceeded $600 then Lighthouse Mgt would issue you a 1099-Misc. I have attached the link for the IRS that has the exact wording and Tax laws regarding this. Should you have any further question please direct them to your local tax person, or the [email protected] and someone will be able to email you the PDF document that contains the IRS Info. Thank you for your understanding; we hope this clarifies the confusion with taxes. Thank you again for you help with the exercise and hope to see you all again down the road.
