"My ice maker doesn't make ice."

It will require a technician after the first 2 steps.

How to diagnose / fix:
- Check to see if the ice maker (or freezer) temp is at 10°. [If no, its an issue related to refrigeration (call a technician) If yes, continue.]

- Check to see if the water💧is on from the wall. [Try the water dispenser (If yes, continue. If no, check water valve at the wall]

- If you are at this point then you will need a technician. They will test the defrost cycle (heating element) and water filler valve to pinpoint 📌 the issue.

"What temperature should I set my refrigerator?"

Freezer 0°
Refrigerator 37°

Anything outside of these settings can and will cause your refrigerator to work harder (on cooler seetings) or make food spoil faster if settings are above 40° cleverly called the "Danger Zone".

On most newer models, those are the "recommended settings".

If you are needing to select a lower temperature in order to keep your food cold, most likely your condenser "coils" are in need of attention.

If you here a buzzing or grinding sound from your freezer compartment... that stops when you open the door... this is the most common issue on all refrigerators.

Verify then replace the evaporator fan.
