During small group, the Wonderland children in Piqua explored their scientific inquiry skills by mixing ingredients and pouring them into a hollowed-out watermelon to observe a chemical reaction. Through this hands-on experiment, the children explored cause-and-effect relationships, practiced making predictions, and observed changes as the ingredients reacted. This engaging activity encouraged curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific discovery. 🧪👩‍🔬

Yesterday, the Milton Union classroom kicked off the celebration to finish up our first study of the year! Deputy Lyons visited us again, but this time he brought his police cruiser! The children got to sit in the driver’s seat, crawl through the back, hold his big shield, and turn on the lights. To finish up, he turned on his sirens as he pulled away so we could hear. Thank you, Deputy Lyons!
