On Autism Awareness Day, we recognize the critical role research plays in advancing understanding of autism and related neurodevelopmental disorders.

Resources like the Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative (SFARI) Repository help make that progress possible by giving approved researchers access to more than 200 iPS cell lines derived from individuals with autism-linked genetic findings and related neurodevelopmental conditions.

These kinds of research tools matter. They help scientists study disease biology more deeply, ask better questions, and move discoveries forward with stronger human-relevant models.
