Barrett BFT LLC Larry Barrett has been in the auto body and wrecker business since June of 1971. In 2026 Larry's grandson, Devon Keith has taken over the family business.

-Larry Barrett Body Co. first opened its doors at 401 S. Broadway Pittsburg, Kansas, in June of 1971. In this small building with one work station a body shop dream was first realized. Larry moved his business to 825 E. Atkinson Frontenac, Kansas and remained there until March of 1998. It was at this time that the need for a larger facility became a necessit

y. Larry Barrett Body*Frame*Towing was moved into a brand new building at 2901 N. Rouse in Pittsburg. This expansion allowed the body shop to the most advanced equipment necessary to repairing wrecked vehicles. In January 2004 Larry was approached about selling the building to USD #250 school district for use of their bus barn. It was at this time that plans were developed for a larger and revised floor plan in order to keep up with the demands of the changing automotive industry. Larry Barrett Body*Frame*Towing, LLC moved into its current facility in October 2004. What more could you ask for than an all inclusive body shop and towing facility. Our business hours of operation for the office are Monday thru Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week for any towing services. First up is Jessica Barrett Southard!

As office manager, she is quite literally the heart and soul of this operation. She is the superwoman working behind the scenes making day to day life run smoothly. Whether it be writing estimates, answering phone calls/questions, ordering parts, dealing with insurance, doing alllll the paperwork.. she really is THAT girl! She handles everything so our customers don’t have to! Anyone that knows her, knows how amazing she is. She knows the ins and outs of this business better than anyone and we could not do it without her!
