This week, we’re excited to spotlight Vandye Nelson of the WBN Murrysville Chapter, owner of 60 Minute Missions Escape Room!

Vandye originally joined WBN nearly nine years ago as a way to connect with women business leaders and introduce a new business—and a new concept—to the area. What she found along the way was so much more.

💬 “The friendships I have made over the past nine years are invaluable.”

Today, Vandye finds joy in watching friends and families come together, have fun, and create memories at 60 Minute Missions.

And her advice to other women in business?

“Find your people! The right group will support you and encourage you in ways you never imagined. Bloom where you’re planted!”

✨ Your network can extend far beyond one meeting or one chapter.

With 14 Women’s Business Network chapters throughout the Greater Pittsburgh area, each meeting twice a month, there are approximately 28 opportunities every month to connect with women in business.

WBN members have the opportunity to visit other chapters, expand their network, build meaningful relationships, exchange referrals, and make connections throughout the region.

And the opportunities don’t stop with chapter meetings! WBN also offers regional events, Lunch & Learns, educational programs, and other opportunities throughout the year.

Whether you’re already a member or looking for a professional women’s networking organization in the Pittsburgh area, there are so many ways to get connected with WBN.

The WBN Monroeville Chapter invites you to join us. We meet on the 2nd Wednesday by Zoom and the 4th Wednesday in person at Panera Bread in Penn Center. With access to over 200 members, you can build your network, learn and grow with us.

I had a wonderful time representing the Monroeville Chapter at the WBN Business Retreat last month!!

It was held at the Omni Bedford Springs which was beautiful! The newly fallen snow made it even prettier.

Attendees were able to work on personal improvement, work on their own personal business, and of course have some great times mixing with the other attendees and making new friends!

The Monroeville chapter has the best of both worlds!
We are one of the very few chapters that meet virtually once a month and in person the other time.

This way you still get to see everyone in person but you also have 1 meeting a month when you don't have to travel to a meeting! This saves time but still gives you in person time!

I was able to represent the Monroeville chapter at the WBN holiday brunch yesterday. It was a very enjoyable event with many attendees. It was wonderful to see all the women who have become my friends and to meet new members.

If you want to become part of a friendly networking community, visit a chapter as a guest to find out what we are all about!!

Monroeville resumes our normal schedule in January.
2nd Wednesday on Zoom, 9:00-10:30 am
4th Wednesday in the backroom at Panera in Wilkins, 9:00-10:30 am.
