What entrepreneurship reminded me this week was to take care of my emotional health. Dating and relationships are a beast on its own but trying to date while being an entrepreneur can be more like a monster. It’s not talked about enough in our community. (If it is, tag me)

You take some attention off of your projects because you want to give that person in your life their deserved time and attention. How much attention is too much or too little? When you enter into disagreements and arguments, how does that affect your work ethic? Your passion? When you’re hurting because of your partner, what resilience exercises do you take to get back on track? Do you handle it alone? Do you take more time away to go to counseling?

Journaling, text counseling/therapy, long walks, exercising, hyper focusing, etc. I just want to tell you, do what’s best for and in some cases put the focus back on you. It doesn’t mean you don’t care anymore. Just refill your cup so you don’t shatter.

What a blessing it is to take the lessons, growth, and experiences I’ve gained throughout my entrepreneurial journey and pour them back into others. 🩵
