Last week I was honored to serve as the emcee at the FAME Graduation 2024 event. As an alum from C/O '10 I was thrilled to be part of such a meaningful celebration. It was truly inspiring to witness the achievements of our scholars and the unity of our community.

The Class of 2024 demonstrated exceptional dedication, securing over 1.5 million dollars in merit scholarships and earning numerous acceptances to prestigious universities. Their commitment reflects the essence of FAME's motto, "To whom much is given, much is required." I proudly serve as an example that as FAME alums the motto and work continues on well past your post secondary education.

Being on stage and guiding this event was a privilege. Every moment, from the inspiring speeches to the captivating performances, showcased the incredible talent and potential within our FAME family.

Let's continue to empower our future leaders and celebrate their achievements!

Thrilled to have been a part of the Chuck Cooper Foundation Luncheon, where I had the honor to discuss programming and community engagement. As I enter my second year with the foundation, and being here as the foundation reached the $400,000 milestone in scholarships is a testament to the commitment to empowering future leaders.

I am particularly excited about the upcoming cohort of scholars and the expansion of our programming, working closely with (stay tuned for updates!). It was also inspiring to hear Coach Dru speak about the legacy as the newly appointed head coach of Duquesne Men’s Basketball. Here's to fostering excellence and making meaningful impacts together!

I am immensely proud and grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Chuck Cooper III and the Chuck Cooper Foundation’s 2023-24 scholarship cohort and leadership program participants, who delivered an exceptional career readiness panel workshop at the consecutive State Champion Imani Christian Academy! A special acknowledgment goes out to the scholars for their hard work, dedication, and community commitment. I also want to extend a huge shoutout to Imani Christian Academy and its students, who not only attended splendidly but also actively participated and engaged throughout the workshops. After upsetting BYU, Duquesne University is back tonight, ready to take on Illinois! 🏀

In light of this exciting game, I'm reminded of an incredible experience facilitating the Chuck Cooper Foundation “Court of Dreams” halftime basketball game during the annual Chuck Cooper Classic Men’s basketball game. Collaborating with Duquesne University’s Athletic Department and the Chuck Cooper Foundation to create such a special moment was truly an honor. Providing unforgettable experiences to our kids and communities is always a privilege.

Even 16 years later, I’m still connected & engaged with Duquesne University in impactful ways. 💪

Recently, I had the opportunity to join the Men’s & Women’s basketball teams at Pittsburgh Miller PreK-5 African-Centered Academy for the Chuck Cooper Foundation’s Outreach Program. I also had the pleasure of working with the Chuck Cooper Foundation’s “Court of Dreams” halftime scrimmage for youth in the Greater Pittsburgh Area during the men’s March 9th Chuck Cooper Classic game.

It’s a great day when you get to wake up and foster & making a real difference!

I am thrilled to announce the rebranding of Hampton Brown Consulting! Formerly known as Hidden Gyms, our new name truly reflects the expansion of services and transformative work we do in education, community engagement, and organizational development.

As the Founder and President, I am proud to share some insight to our recent work with Chuck Cooper III and the Chuck Cooper Foundation . Our connection not only resulted in impactful initiatives locally (Pittsburgh) but also led to an incredible opportunity to connect and continue to build our partnership with the Boston Celtics through the Chuck Cooper Foundation. 🏀
