Women’s chess has spent too long being treated like an afterthought instead of what it actually is: sport, competition, performance, discipline, preparation, pressure, and leadership.

The women in this space are athletes.
They train.
They compete.
They study.
They perform under pressure.
They lead.

And as women’s sports continue to grow, women in chess deserve visibility, investment, sponsorship, media attention, and support too.

This is bigger than a game.

This is about who gets recognized, funded, represented, and taken seriously in competitive spaces.

Women’s Chess is Women’s Sports.

And we’re going to keep saying it until the rest of the world catches up.
