On 6/30/25 in our chaotic non traditional fashion, and myself got married. On a Monday. In a thunderstorm. It wasn’t the way we originally planned, but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. It still feels weird to say I have a wife and to see her changed name. Life has been exhausting lately and a lot has been happening, but this has by far been the greatest thing to happen in my (and hopefully Tay’s) life in a long time. I can’t wait to see what life holds for us and the boys. Also, a HUGE shoutout to for being the best officiant. And for capturing our favorite moments in a way only you can. I can’t wait to get away next week and do it all again!

I just realized it’s been over a month since I’ve posted on here. There has been so much happening. I’ve been so busy being present that I haven’t quite had a chance to catch socials up! This past month has been busy for work! From Dj and photobooth for a 21st to an absolute rager of a wedding (and new photobooth!) with at the ! The time between was filled with Friday night dance parties, a super sentimental wedding at the , a wedding at , karaoke nights, a disco themed filming/house party (thanks for holding it down for me ) upgrading my lighting with and , and helping host a trend show with (thanks for the assist ). EVERY one of these events had one thing in common. I put my absolute best foot forward for all of them. No matter the event, no matter the pay, I treat every event I book with the highest level of care and professionalism I’m capable of. Thank you to everyone who trusts me and my team with making their events memorable. I appreciate each and every one of you who give me the opportunity to share my musical (and lighting!) passion. All of this to say, life has been busy, I am extremely appreciative and grateful for every opportunity given to me, and I look forward to all of the future events I get to be a part of. If you’re looking for a professional who is going to care about your event like it’s their own, you found me! I tell people all the time “I live this, it’s not my job”. Let’s talk and you’ll see why!

Unfortunately there will not be karaoke this evening with Jess Rikstad and myself at Lokay Lanes due to some utility issues. The lanes will reopen tomorrow. This wouldd have been Jess’ last karaoke with us here at Lokay. She’s moving up to better things and unfortunately had to hang up the bartender hat for the time being. We all wish her the best and hope to see her back as a guest! Just to be clear, this is NOT the end of karaoke, we will be back next week, and we hope to see you then!

Jess Rikstad has only 2 MORE TUESDAYS behind the bar at karaoke with me at Lokay Lanes. We’re going to celebrate the woman who started it all this week and send her off with the most fun next Tuesday! Come join myself and your resident karaoke queen from 8-12 tonight for the most fun you can have on a Tuesday night!
