“Steel City Shredding is an outstanding company to work with and I recommend them 100%. 

I am the executor of my parents’ estate and I was required by the American Bar Association to dispose of my grandfather’s and father’s legal records that date from 1922-2000. 

There were over 500 boxes of legal documents at my parents’ house that had to be shredded by a company certified to handle such confidential records. 

I called every shredding company in Pittsburgh and Steel City is the only one in the area that will come to a residential setting to do the work on site. 

They answered my call right away, listened to what I needed and scheduled a service visit right away. 

In addition, my parents’ house is in a rural area that is very difficult to access. They assured me that they could handle the job; and they did, in an excellent manner. 

Steel City sent two industrial trucks to shred the documents that were in a small barn and a two story garage. 

The gentlemen they sent were extremely hardworking, thorough, and kind. It was a really cold day and the conditions were crowded and dirty. They worked non stop for hours to handle this task. 

Because of these amazing gentlemen and Steel City Shredding, I was able to meet the ABA shredding requirement and also meet the court deadline to close out my parents’ estate. 

Steel City Shredding exceeded every expectation and in addition, every person I dealt with at this company was professional, compassionate, thorough, and responsive. 

I am deeply grateful to Steel City Shredding. They did a very hard job in an amazing way and I recommend them wholeheartedly.”
